This motion piece was created as the award submission case study for the McDonald’s Audio Campaign, which won Mobiclicks the Leader Award at the 2022 Assegai Awards.

Designed using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, the video visually translates an audio-first media strategy into a dynamic, easy to digest story. Through bold typography, brand-led motion, and rhythmic transitions, the piece communicates the campaign insight, execution, and results while maintaining a confident, polished aesthetic suited to award presentation

Creative Thought Process

The challenge was to visually represent the impact of audio.
The solution was to let motion support sound. Using clean layouts, purposeful animation, and carefully paced typography to guide the viewer through the narrative without distraction.

Every design choice focused on clarity, brand consistency, and storytelling. Ensuring the campaign’s success remained the hero.

After Effects Design Journey

The video was built entirely in After Effects, with assets created in Photoshop and Illustrator.

The animation followed a structured case-study flow, using kinetic typography, subtle transitions, and refined motion curves to maintain rhythm and hierarchy. Final polishing focused on smooth pacing, visual balance, and export optimisation for award submissions and presentations.
