This video was produced as the award submission case study for the Lexus Mirrors campaign, which won Gold at the Smarties Awards and Silver at the Assegai Awards.

The piece showcases how contextual, content-aligned media can seamlessly integrate a brand into moments of high audience attention. Designed using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, the video combines sleek motion graphics, cinematic transitions, and brand led typography to reflect Lexus’ premium positioning while clearly communicating the campaign’s strategy, execution, and impact.

The final creative balances sophistication with clarity, elevating both the campaign insight and results into a polished, award worthy story.

Creative Thought Process

The objective was to visually express contextual relevance and precision targeting in a way that felt natural and premium.

Rather than overloading the viewer with information, the creative focuses on flow and restraint. Using smooth transitions, refined motion, and clear hierarchy to guide the narrative. Each visual element was designed to support the idea of Lexus appearing in the right moment, within the right content, without disrupting the viewing experience.

The result is a confident, understated case study that mirrors the Lexus brand ethos.

After Effects Design Journey

Built entirely in After Effects, with assets prepared in Photoshop and Illustrator, the animation follows a structured case study flow from insight to results.

Kinetic typography, subtle motion curves, and seamless scene transitions were used to maintain rhythm and polish, while careful pacing ensured clarity throughout. Final refinements focused on visual consistency, smooth playback, and export optimisation for award submissions and presentations.
